If My Chemical Romance need a sub and he's releasing a new album this year; what are the chances?

I know alot of people dislike him; but I'd prefer him to thirty seconds to mars and he fits in.

Would he even sub anymore? I don't know. Thoughts?

I think enough festivals have had appearences by bands that don't like each other (Homme/Guns and Roses for example) to say that doesn't always matter.

I used to love him. But as of the year 2011, he just isn't relivent anymore. I've heard that live they are amazing, but at festivals they are dreadful. Which in my view is a decent enough call to stick them as an NME headliner, if egos could be managed enough. Think there is potential for it to be very pull off in that position, but outside on main... nah.

get a proper band where the lead singer wheres make up...the cure, cant believe only bestival have them. they should be headlining the major festivals.

I enjoyed seeing them 10 years ago, but I can only imagine how poor it would be now. Time hasn't been kind, and their days is very much gone.

yeah but the cure have amazing back catalogue of work, I would suggest bands that have been around for that long hardly ever have the original band.

I don't see the difference myself, Smith & Gallop (when he is with the band) write all the music and the rest are expenadable and there's never been a classic line up the same was as The Clash, Gun N Roses etc had

Marilyn Manson was a god to me when I was 13 - I was him at Milton Keynes Bowl years and years ago ('99 I think) and he showed his arse to the crowd...

That's about all he did. Wasn't a very good gig at all. Lost touch with my passion for him when I started to grow up a bit. Americans 'get' him more the the British crowds do. We treat him like some sort of campy, kitchy Goth clown who makes semi-decent Metal whereas they treat him like he's the antithesis of everything that's wholesome about nuclear family values, when really he's more the former than the latter. 10 years ago he might have seemed scary but then 10 years ago Eminem was wielding chainsaws around onstage whilst off his face on E... then he went onstage at the VMAs and hugged Elton John and revealed that he was a bit of a joke.
