Chances of getting tickets with the last batch?

Me and my friends have been looking at festivals to go to this year and of course glasto is one of the top on the list. Trouble is there are 9 of us:

can you still register for this years festival?

what are the chances do you reckon?

hope people can help us

I'd guess it's probably a long shot.

You'll all need to register, I couldn't spot anywhere on the GLF site that says registration is closed so maybe give it a go. You'd need to get it sorted pronto as the re-sale is probably looming.

As to the chances of getting 9 tickets in the re-sale, who knows?, bound to be a mad scramble for an hour or so for however few/many tickets available.

There are countless posts on here of bods who've tried for hours and not got to book tickets and others who got through straight away then 'held the page' via refresh/back, to book more tickets. I guess the more of your group you could get on line and on phones when the re-sale happens (with each others reg details) the better your chances.

Getting 9 tickets in one go would be difficult but with a bit of military precision planning it can be done. You would need all your group to have internet access and each one to have all the other's details including all the names , addresses, reg numbers and bank card details. As soon as one gets through to the booking page you can let the others know. You can only use the reg number once so there wont be duplicates if someone elese in the group tries to buy at the same time.

Don't want to cause alarm but but I know someone who works for Seetickets and said they only had 175 tickets returned.. I guess Glastonbury Festivals hold a couple of thousand of tickets back for the resale though otherwise they wouldnt be advertising the resale on such a low number of tickets.

There will be more than 175 tickets as there will be folk who just fail to complete payment and will get their £40 back (£10 kept for admin)

Last year I got a ticket for my daughter in the resale and to be honest it seemed easier than the original ticket sale day. Getting 9 may be a bit trickier.. All those U2 fans after tickets
