i notice a lot of people on here are getting excited about the possibility of mumford and sons playing R/L.

i really cant believe that they have managed to pull the wool over so many peoples eyes.i swear my mum and dad(who are in their seventies) have been listening to this music for years.the only difference is that it is played by old fogies in empty pubs instead of trendy looking youngsters in festivals.

i can't believe that no-one else has noticed.

the rest of my mums collection consists of the likes of susan boyle and neil diamond, maybe the record label will find some young versions of them and somehow get NME to give them some credibility so they can play the festivals,ha ha

i found it disgusting that mumford & sons are bummed by every little skins watching cretin, yet half of them dont have the patience to give Arcade Fire a proper listen. Proof if there needs to be proof that the radio has brainwashed.

No doubt Brother and the other britpop revival dross will be big this summer because of the constant hype and radio play.

Why people can't discover music via other methods is beyond me. Doesn't bother me too much though, music is a personal experience in my eyes, and im grateful of my electic music taste.

It is totally moronic to keep generalising like this. Matticus; I like arcade fire and Mumford. Taste is subjective. And you can't insult people that have different taste to you, because there is no right music to listen too.

Radio one listeners and NME readers atleast listen to and enjoy music and that is the point.
