yeah it's not the best show. it's on a par with the other shows it shares airtime with here (king of queens, everybody loves raymond). i actually think it's the worst of the three.

i couldn't believe when i read up how big/successful it was in the states.

"Comedy" in america is an odd thing. Dull formulaic stuff that you watch with you brain switched off like 2 and 1/2 men is wildly popular, but try and do something a bit different and nobody watches it. Case in point is Arrested Development. In my opinion it's far and away the best comedy of the last 10 years, but nobody watched it because you had to pay attention to get the jokes.

I never ever got Two and a half men but i can kinda see why it is quite popular. I saw a couple of the earlier episodes when the kid was just a fat kid who hadn't a clue, compared to now! It's mental how much he has changed.

Terrible comedy show.... but Charlie Sheen stopped it being a lot worse

I thought the guy was having a bit of a legendary mid-life crisis for a while when it was going on about his holiday with two models and other similar shenanigans

Then its got a bit crazy, judging by this video he is losing it on drugs. Sad to see.

30 Rock is absolutely incredible. How I met Your Mother and Big Bang Theory are both quite good too.

I wathced the first two seasons of Two and a Half men, but it really isn't that great. It has some decent laughs but for the most part is forgettable. It was really just filling a gap when i couldn't find another US show to watch.
