End of the road..on my own

Hi Guys,

For various reasons it looks like I'll be going to End of the road on my own this year. I could sell my ticket, but the line up looks quality and I wouldn't want to miss it!

I was just wondering how 'loner friendly' the festival is, if you know what I mean. Are people usually quite friendly & is there stuff to do inbetween seeing bands etc?

I'd appreciate your opinions,

Thanks

was in a similar situation last year - first year at eotr, had a late pull out from a mate but went and had a great time. loads of random chats, people all friendly. there will be a loners cam thread nearer the date, and i did intend getting in with them but failed to make it happen but it didnt affect my enjoyment at all. cant recommend it highly enough.

Teehee..... last year we had about 50 (I know - I made a register!!) - so that's 1% of the fezzie goers..... let's aim for 2% this year ;)

Great group of people, some we knew already and a lot of new ones, made some good mates. Age range late teenage to early 60s!

Like Matt said, just great to have people to chat with back at the campsite, and constantly bumping into people round the festival. :D

PS Hi Sue as well :) x

Quite frustrating, but weighing up my financial situation for the summer, it looks like EOTR isn't such a good idea if I want to go travelling as well, and actually be able to eat.

So, without wanting to push my luck- Any advice on where to sell my ticket, or does anyone want to buy it for face value (or a bit less if you're hard up)?

Thanks guys, you've been very helpful and if I ever do decide to go to EOTR on my own I won't be fretting prior to the festival!

x
