They played 5th from top on the main stage last time, but Diamond Eyes was very well received so I'd expect them to move up a slot if they were to do main stage. That said I'd be expecting them to headline the R1 stage opposite The Strokes - it'd mean the "Kerrang" crowd could do Muse - Deftones - MCR as their three night headliners.

Headlining the tent would be cracking. I'm getting married the weekend after Reading, but that would be enough to tempt me along at least for the day.

Im not sure having a well recieved album is enough to push up a slot, unless it results in increased sales and a lot of media exposure which I dont remember. I would imagine they would get the same slot.

Ideally, they'll give me something to watch when Muse are playing. Would quite like to see The Strokes and MCR, but Deftones wouldn't be missed.

Chino can come out and sing with 30STM. If Deftones and 30STM both play, expect them to be on the same day and probably the same stage, or at least not clashing if they're on different stages.

I can see them as subs or 3rd of 4th down the bill on the main stage personally. Beats the shit out of somebody like All Time Low playing again.

So Deftones (according to other fest dates) are playing Friday @ Reading and Sunday @ Leeds.
