What are the chances of Rancid playing?

Theres not much chance of them playing. They seem to be rumoured every year and it never happens.

come on!!!! let this be the year. they hevent toured their new album here yet and its nearly two years old.maybe just doing r/l would count as them coming over here. it would be such a popular announcement.

I only own "...And Out Come The Wolves", but it's such a great album that I'd definitely go and see them.

Loved Rancid, they were the 1st band I really got into. Last album was complete shit but would see them play again in a heart beat.

funnily enough, i started listening to the last album again a few weeks ago.its pretty good once you trim about 4 or 5 average tracks off it(still leaves 12 tracks).

problem is that they are always up against the high watermark of out come the wolves.the worst rancid album is better than most punk bands best album in my opinion.

added the 'in my opinion' right at the end there to save this turning into another debate and getting off the subject,ha ha.

I quite like Dominoes and life won't wait. never really got 2000. life won't wait is great and out come the wolves is still as good a punk album I've ever heard. love them to play but not waiting too much.

what were devils brigade like? i was working away when they played bristol.

Pretty good. Some amusing banter between Matt and the crowd too. Continuous calls for Rancid and Op Ivy tunes lead to him attempting Sound System on the double bass. They played a couple of Rancid tunes, a Lars one and closed with the Dead Kennedys' Police Truck. They were on stage 25mins early as well, not often that happens. Axl Rose take note.

I like the album too. Matt's voice isn't as croaky as it is on the Rancid stuff.
