Muse

Just because you or I haven't heard it doesn't mean it isn't true. Neil has obviously been told something that makes him 100% certain that Elbow will be playing.

As for Muse, they've been up there for months as SR because Neil is only 99% sure they will be playing. They didn't self-confirm, there's a story on the Muse forums that someone reliable saw their tour schedule backstage at the NME awards and it included R&L. It's likely to be true but obviously isn't good enough info for Neil to move it from SR to TBC, I guess he only deals in information that he gets directly.

How is that complicated?

I understand many people's problems with muse, ie they played so many festivals last year, predictable.. etc..

However I've never seen them, looked very good at glasto on TV last year, so will be looking forward to their headline set very much! (bearing in mind if the rumours are correct).

Get what you're saying....it's Glasto get headliners and Reading picks them up the following year.... but Reading have had some belting acts...Pumpkins, 'Tallica, NIN, QOTSA, Radiohead, & may it continue. Muse are excellent live & I know they've gigged & f**ked up with their last album but they still rock.

Muse headlined in 2006, long time before Glastonbury
