He has his own logic, according to him Neil books all the festivals, Beady Eye will save Rock N Roll & The Courteeners are big enough to headline R&L.

What time did they put up for the event, that could get a clue of where they are playing on the stage, although it's probably more likely that they would have set it at a random time

They put up 6pm for the time but its the same for every event of theirs so I doubt its a clue to where on the bill they'll be playing

I could definitely see them subbing Mumford which would be brilliant as it's on the MCR day so it would be a fantastic alternative.

I agree, the Beatles cover band scene is getting a bit stale, thank God Beady Eye are here to breathe some fresh air into it.

The Courteeners could not headline R&L, although if their next album sees their impressively commited fanbase increase again I could see them playing third or subbing.

"You know what you're going to get" isn't the best reason to put someone on as a headliner.

And plenty of people knew who Acade Fire where, they'd sub-headlined before.
