No I just find it funny how people get so easily annoyed, I sustained my observations,,, which anyone who cares to look at the website you mentioned will agree on. Nothing you have said on the matter is helpful. Save the online community? From what? Carrying a washing machine to a festival? Right oh lad.

Back on topic I picked up a notebook BBQ a little while back (Google for details).

I'd recommend to anyone who wants to cook (disposables are shite for anything more than burgers/ sausages).

Plenty of space, stick a bag of self lighting in there and you can get pans, kettles and whatever on the go. Give it a wash under the tap on sunday and it folds up small to take home.

If you were that worried about it why not set it up by the piss wall or the bush, away from your camp.

Could always get a bucket, put a bin bag in it, shit in the bag and then bin it each time.

One of my mates swears by the "shit in a carrier bag in your tent and throw it in the bin" method.

Away from the poo girl phenomenon, I was wondering how highly do you guys rate sleeping mats and other such camping extras? Last year I didn't have one and the lumpy grass was mildly annoying but I don't remember it being that much of a hindrance. So would you guys say they're worth it bearing in mind all this crap has got to be carried in?

I think I was only bothered on the Thursday as I was in a generally arsey mood after queuing outside for a couple hours in the pouring rain & getting there and feeling cooped up in the tent cos the weather was still so shite. I just like picking up bits and bobs to get me into the spirit haha

Yeah thats always my main concern, it was my first year last time & you learn what crap you actually need once you're there, I can't even be arsed to take a chair again this year, too much faffing around to carry & keep taking out when you can just sit on the grass, I've picked up an extra compact sleeping bag which looks promising and should be a bit of an energy/space saver.
