4 of us spooning together for warmth in my tent last year, I actually wore clothes in my sleeping bag for once.

So f**king cold, I downed the rest of my whisky back at camp, went to bed at 2, got up at half 5 to go home. I thought my little toe was going to come off in the shower I shit you not.

Never been that cold before.

I've been in Purple the last couple of years and never had a problem. It's a bit lively at times but that depends on what groups camp around you. It can be hard to get some kip on a Sunday night though.

I've camped in purple every year i've been and I think it's a good camp, not too far to the arena, and not to close to the arena. So its not to mad, not to casual..

Mind you I have always left half way through the sunday night, coz i cba with sitting there looking after my stuff all night.

Will be camping in crew area this year as I will be a CAT! Separate showers and bar ftw...

But secondary tent, for when shifts are over, will be in Yellow where myself and a large gaggle of mates have kept going back to year on year!

Got a great spot in a slightly subdued area, surrounded by hedges but right round the corner from the party! - Around the corner from where the toilets used to be in Yellow before they got burnt down in '08!

Hope you find a decent spot! Even if it's not so great, just crack open a cider with your neighbours and get partying!
