sweet your in for a treat with bestival far far better than reading imo, reading is a good festival to do once ive been a few and as a result have started to resent it mainly due to the fact that because of the curfew, people who are only jus reaching their peak in drunkenness etc by that time want something to do and with the terrible, overcrowded and overrated silent disco being the only option, people resort to destroying tents and annoying other people which tbh is not what i spend best part of 200 quid for. thats why imo reading is good to experience once for the big bands but after that your best off going elsewhere where you will find that some of the best times at festivals come during the night, particularly as this is a great time to discover new bands/djs

Does anyone feel dissapointed that the line-up got leaked? This looks certain to be it, and therefore there won't be that feeling of suspense at 7PM tonight like there usually is.

Oh well, looking forward to seeing a better quality version of the yellow poster. ;)

It is distinctly average but littered sporadically with gold.

The National are a good booking, DFA are a great one, even though I'd have liked them to headline a smaller tent (or possibly even the NME though with 2manydj's in there I can't complain)

Good to see Warpaint and Crystal Castles back as there albums have finally hit me as wonderful, Pulp and The Strokes will also be a reall good, fun night. It's also good to see Seasick Steve get a good slot and Frank Turner get a slot on the main.

Past that, it's full of average.

To be fair, the line-up isn't that bad, it has some really solid acts on the Main Stage, but 3 points:

1) As people have said it feels like a "recycled" line-up

2) The acts I'm interested in seeing I've known about for a while

3) The National, Friendly Fires and Two Door Cinema Club have ridiculous positions
