If thats the lineup, I wont be going at all. Too much indie crap and over-rated bands.

The lock-up is the only thing that could change it for me, but its going to have to be an amazing lockup to justify the £200 ticket price.

Same here, unless there's an exceptional Lock Up and an exclusive of Mighty Mighty Bosstones, Million Dead etc who I can't see else where then it's just not worth going to.

I bought a ticket in the presale, but I don't think I have any friends going this year and on the strength of that line-up I don't think I'll be able to persuade anyone to go either.

First Leeds was 05, and I decided I wasn't gonna go anymore after last year and thought I would still quite miss it. However, both the price increase and seeing the lineup have taken a lot of the sting out of it.

Only bands on there that I'd actually be excited to see would be The Streets in the R1 tent (although think they should be above 2 manydjs) and The Offspring who I've been hoping would play for the past 5 years.

Haven't missed one since 99 and I won't now. Iquite like the line up, nothing too exciting but a good few acts I want to see and still got the Dance stage to be announced.

Glastonbury & Bestival for me unless I & my friends get last minute tickets cheap or near RRP. The price has gone up too much to justify it this year. I am only really interested in Friendly Fires & Enter Shikari... & The Midnight Beast. The rest I have seen before or just aren't bothered by (not interested in any lock up bands for a while & I can't imagine the Dance day will be that epic).

Edit- Just spoke to my mates, they ain't bothered & if anything IoW is even easier to get to from Surrey.

Lock Up has been poor imo the last few years aswell.

Deffo the worst lineup for L+R ive seen. Everyone saying how w*nk Downaload is but this isn't much better.

Might end up going just for the whole Leeds experience, cos its always a laugh, deffo won't be buying a ticket tonight though and I doubt very much it will sell out.

Loads were going cheap in August last year, might just hold out till then if I am bothered

i was tittering on the edge of it, but now im defo going to volunteer, on the basis that:

1) £200 doesn't justify that lineup (relative to personal taste ofc) so getting the money back after the festival would be a rather nice pickmeup..

2) I spend most my time in the FR stage anyways, so the main accouncements don't particularly bother me.

3) It's a rather sunny day today, and the prospect of not attending atleast 1 festival this summer is kinda tragic, sooo meh. why not eh

Day ticket for Friday. Absolutely devastated - was so excited and looking forward to this, have been going since 2008 for the full weekend including early entry, and each time it's been the highlight of the year for me. But a massively disappointing line-up combined with nobody else I know going, I just can't justify the price of a weekend ticket for this.

Friday - I'd turn up at about 5:45 and watch The Deftones then go. Maybe stick around for The Horrors if I can be arsed.

Saturday - I'd turn up around the same time and watch Madness, hang about for Pulp and then nip over to an empty NME tent to see Jane's Addiction.

Sunday - I would watch Warpaint and then leave.

This will be my 9th Leeds and I shall be there. Enough bands to keep me interested.

dont forget all the people moaning, this forum is less that 1% of the reading and leeds festival goers and what you all say isnt going to change a thing. It will still sell out.

I've been to the past 9 and I'm really torn on whether to go or not this year. I know it'll be painful sat at home on that bank holiday weekend, but I'm not sure I can justify spending £200 on a ticket with that line-up, combined with most of my friends "growing out" of Leeds. Under 4 hours to decide anyway!
