Right im sick of all the f**king moaning on here, this thread is for people who like the line up to discuss, if you want to moan go post in the 99434646346 other posts with moaning in it.

Some gems in there. The Offspring, Pulp, MADNESS, Rise Against, Frank Turner also a lot of good bands id go see. I think ive counted 18 id go see which is great for a first announcement for me

The big band I cant believe isnt there is Mumford and sons. I thought theyd be a shoe in but hey its still good.

Yeah I like it as well. Its not the strongest line-up ever no and it does have the whole MCR/30STM as headliners that alot of people are going to hate. But from the first announcement I've got 5 bands a day that I want to see. With the lock up, festival republic and more nme to be announced I'm quite happy. I won't be buying a ticket tonight but hoping to get one cheap before the fest.

OFWGKTA was a nice suprise as I guessed that they would be there.

so aye, some cracking bands on the lineup - might be a lot of shit, a couple of bands I've never actually heard of before and a fair few lazy bookings but its not total rubbish at all.

That lineup is the best lineup since i've been going. I'm truely gutted I cannot go this year.

Yes the Friday evening is very very weak. But the rest of the lineup is perfect. Credible bands, interesting bookings, surprising, varied and very very strong.

Finall we have a list of bands who are big enough, good enough, credible enough, ineresting enough and fun enough to play the festival.

The Horrors, Noah & The Whale, Deftones, The Offspring, Jane's Addiction, Seasick Steve, Madness, The National, Pulp, Peter Doherty, Chapel Club, Warpaint, The Streets, 2ManyDJ's, Interpol and Elbow.... All very good bookings.

I find the headliners kind of uninspired and boring, but the headliners on NME and FR are enough to warrant them. The Horrors would take me away from the boring other 2, Jane's Addiction would blow every other headliner that night off their respective stages, and Peter Doherty would be a great gig... always is... finish up with some 2manyDJs. Brilliant.
