Getting Tickets for Reading

I've never been to RorL before, but I actually really like the line up this year (being more alt rock than metal).

So quick question - are tickets going to sell out in a mad rush like Glastonbury? I ask becuase I have sent out an email to 5-6 mates suggesting teh festival, but doubt i'll get full responses in time. So was considering just biting the bullet and buying 2-3 and hoping.

Or is that all unnecessary?

Finally, are there any lame pre-registration requirements?

Reading usually sells out faster than Leeds (i go to Leeds) i can remember last year Leeds didn't sell out for like a week, but i think Reading sold out on the night, it would be easier just going for it asap.. and putting up with the ques & freezing

Usually takes about an hour of refreshng (Seetickets). But you'll get there in the end, just keep at it

Took us around 15 minutes last year (Leeds), luckily I work in a big electrical store and I had the whole laptop department refreshing SEE tickets for me

My memory is terrible, does anyone know what the ticket limit per card (or postcode?) is? I bought my ticket after last year's festival and looks like I might have to help a few mates get theirs, so I just want to make sure before-hand that I'm not promising outside of what I can deliver!

or you can just chill out and get a ticket nearer the time from ebay etc for 100 quid.

I'm sure SEE was 6 last year, although others have said 5

Get a list of sites selling tickets, open them up about ten past seven, and then just keep refreshing until you get through. As others have said, it might take a bit of time, but you're almost certain to get through at some stage. Best of luck.
