JAnderson
Ahh wow, so not just the same old Resistance show everyone seems to be whinging about!
Reading Local
They are also a european Festival exclusive according to Melvin Benn..so you won't see this production anywhere else by the looks of things 'We're very pleased to announce that Muse will be headlining this year's Reading and Leeds festivals. The band will close the main stage on Friday August 26th in Leeds and on Sunday August 28th in Reading. At the festival, to celebrate 10 years since the release of Origin Of Symmetry, Muse will be playing songs from this album alongside others spanning their career to date. Not only this, but they'll also be bringing a whole new stage production that will only be used for these two performances.'

stylishkids
Was going to watch Streets and Doherty but this has put a question mark over that. Hopefully The Streets play Glasto and then it will definitly be Muse otherwise will just decide on the day. Good news that they're mixing it up a bit. beards
Ahhh I'm so happy with this! I've seen Muse so many times, and I always come away saying I wish they'd play more of Origin and Showbiz, half of what you wish for is better than nothing at all
dannyv18
R+L will basically just be a greatest hits show
RichieSpenno
This means Muse all the way. They'll clash with the end of The Streets right?
Paul ™
They should just play it start to finish, that would be sublime

jump
Are they actually going to play the album in whole? As playing songs from Origin could still mean a normal set from the last year or 2.
mattl
Excellent news, didn't particularly care for the Resistance album at all. Give me New Born, Plug in Baby and Feeling Good and I'll be a happy man.
fuzzylogic
YES, this sounds fantastic. I was pretty apathetic about MUSE until I read this!
kaytee...
So excited for this. Already seen the resistance stadium tour so I'm glad they're mixing it up a bit

DaveElNino
I might finally get to hear Hyper Music or Space Dementia played. Best news of the day this.

DaveElNino
Even if it's just a set with the Origin songs they've been playing (New Born, Bliss, Citizen Erased, Plug In Baby and Feeling Good) it'll still be better than the setlist they trotted out for their first night at Wembley last year. iPaulo xD
http://bcove.me/6ju5smiz <--- That link will excite many people. He talked about it at the NME awards.
kaosmark2
That made me excited and consider a day ticket. Then I saw day tickets were up to £90 now. And that they didn't promise to play the album in full, just songs from it. Considering that their live show is above average, I don't give a damn until I can either see them for £30ish again, or I'm confident that the majority of the set will be made up of their good songs. Or probably both.
Joe-
This is cool, Micro Cuts will be excellent. As long as they play this instead of their new crud.
