Or put them under Rammstein or AC/DC, both are one of the few live bands that can't be upstaged.

*No I not saying either of those will headline*

Neil heard from a music journo that the guy said Prodigy would be brought in to replace MCR as headliners. Neil also said he's probably talking shit. Prodigy have already headline Reading twice as well as IOW & Glasto but as you say they play too many festivals as subs/2nd outdoor stage so often it's diminished their worth as headliners despite being just as big and just as good live as any other that gets mentioned. I can see them headlining Soni soon though.

Haven't done an all round guess for a while so here goes.

Reading and Leeds 2012 - Bloc Party, Kasabian, Foo Fighters

V Festival 2012 - Lady GaGa, Coldplay

TITP 2012 - Biffy Clyro (RHCP could do this), Lady GaGa, Radiohead

Download festival 2012 - Nickelback, Rammstein, Van Halen

Sonisphere Festival 2012 - Soundgarden, Tool, RHCP

IOW Festival 2012 - Biffy Clyro (Kaybe West if not), RHCP, The Killers

Glastonbury Festival 2013 - Radiohead, Arcade Fire (if not The Rolling Stones), Lady GaGa

And a Rockness early guess as not too sure with this fest. - Primal Scream, Daft Punk, they can play TITP too surely can't they? Different weekends

IMO

R&L, Safe guesses but with Kasabain I think are 50/50, if they are going to headline it'll be next year but FR may be wary of them as they have never played Main or since their 1st album and there is talk of stadium shows next summer.

Vfest, safe guess but most likely.

Download, Soundgarden were lined up last year I can see them play this year instead, otherwise it's the safest guesses atm.

TITP, I know people are touting Biffy but I can see them subbing due to all the fests they have done recently, if Soni have RHCP then can't seen them playing another UK fest.

Soni, RHCP are certs but they said they were talking to Green Day & Blink as well and I can see Blink playing due to the re-arranged tour dates and the last slot would be a token metal band

IOW can't see RHCP playing both Soni & IOW due to their exclusive contract bullshit and IOW is impossible to predict as they can pull off booking the like of Rolling Stones and then book Kaiser Chiefs. I can see Radiohead playing their next year.
