I think people are getting carried away with co-headliners now, it has happened the once as FR wanted Pulp (possibly due to weak headliners) on the bill but Pulp wanted to be headliners/co-headliners for all their fest shows (apart from the secret Glasto show) where as someone like Bloc Party aren't in the same tier of having an ego/legacy or whatever to have a problem being subs similar to the Libertines subbing when they were arguably big enough to headline themselves.

Is it only this one time that co-headline has been done?

All I know is far a few options, it looks to be a shit lineup, well not shit just too much seen before.

I doubt you'll agree but I reckon Tinie Tempah would go down great at R&L. He was awesome last night, Zane Lowe for that matter was quality too. Could he play 3rd down Jay - Z day? That would get a lot of punters in.

I think Tenacious D are due to release a new album next and when they subbed Metallica they were brilliant, but it just seems to obvious to me to have them subbing Foos. I also doibt that it would be as successful due to the fact that the surprise element has gone now and they aren't riding the popularity wave of 'Tribute' nowadays.

Wouldn't Tenacious D depend on what movies Jack Black is doing next year? I remember something in the past about Jack saying no to TD shows in the past because he's busy acting and KG is the one that pushes for Tenacious D work and I think the new album was due this year.

It would yes and I think to have them under Foo's would be decent too. They have to sub for the money that Black would get film wise. I don't think its too obvious, the obvious one is Biffy.

Would TD do the hotel hire at a non headliner is that thinking too much? Or me just hoping its not bloody jay n kanye, jay on his own ok

Wouldn't surprise me as they are starting to come out.

Keese usually comes up with them at some point.

We know they have the hotel booking band, it's thought Foo's, so it's one more and tickets on 2nd december, I thought something would come out before that.

Where did you hear that they'd been leaked?
