pink_triangle
Theres been a lot of conversation about bands being too high on the bill, however are there any acts that people are surprised arent higher. The ones that stood out for me. Madness - Should be above jimmy eat world, will draw a far bigger crowd. The Vaccines - Seemed to be one of the most hyped up bands at present, There album could will probably sell more than many in equivalent positions on the main stage, Cage the elephant - Were probably given the slot before the last single did well, was always surprised they didnt become bigger after their debut. Panic at the disco - Seems like only yesterday they were headlining the second stage at glastonbury. They are probably a band who would have been huge if they had been around 2 or 3 year early but while I know their popularity has plumetted, Im surprised it has by this much

JWC126
Vaccines I think will be pushed up higher closer to the date. This album is gonna be huuuuuge. Surprised that Crystal Castles aren't headlining the NME stage, same with The Streets.
kibble
Cage the Elephant and Panic were my initial choices too. I can think of a few that are higher than they should be too, Friendly Fires?
Hart Attack
Panic At The Disco, maybe Taking Back Sunday - that's all, though. Everyone is so high this year for some reason...
mattl
Frank Turner, I know he's played the last 15 years in a row but lower than The View? really?
Gingecredible
Definately Panic. I was expecting MCR 30stm Offspring Deftones Panic New Found Glory Panic kinda took a KIGH slot from last year. Not a problem KIGH were amazing. Joe-
IMO the line-up looks really weird, doesn't flow, a bit small compared to last year and stuff. Seasick Steve under Two Door cinema club confuses me, they should be high NME. Friendly Fires are very high (Although I'm not complaining), Madness are very low I would have thought 3rd. Just a bit confused with the whole thing.

anything++
I would have thought The Streets were a shoe in for NME headliners.
Stylo92
Personally i think Deftones should be higher than Offspring but i guess its close. Madness should be above JEW. Panic! should be higher. Midnight beast shouldn't headline the FR stage if thats the case, although its not in special font so maybe they aren't. My reason is that what kind of alternative to Pulp and Jane's Addiction is that?! a joke choice imo. mrtourette
but i think Offspring will draw a huge crowd, so will 30 seconds to mars, but i think Offspring should be above them if anything..
iwannarock
MCR are playing lower than expected... In all seriousness, the lineup order is a mess this year at times. Enter Shikari totally out of place on the Muse day. JEW also out of place on their day. MCR day would look fine if Green Day headlined. And a nice 'rock' alternative they have in NME when the Indie is on main stage. '09 we got Gallows, AFI and Lostprophets, '10 we got Enter Shikari and Pendulum. And in 2011...we get Crystal Castles and Jane's Addiction :|

jump
I think Madness are where they are as they played the same slot at V mainstage although they should be higher due to my personal taste. I did call Freindly Fires would be higher than what everyone else was expecting so I'm not surprised by that.
Bisque
Could it be possible that we are looking at future festival headliners on the Friday & Sunday undercards? Not for next year, but say... in the next 10 years. I am still adament Dizzee will headline within this time period & Friendly Fires if their next 2/3 albums set the world on fire. Although this might be a struggle as Friendly Fires was one of the best albums of '09 (yeah I know it was released in '08 but they toured '09 & it was a great summer album for me). Also, anyone notice that Friendly Fires & Enter Shikari are both from St. Albans?
mrtourette
I had noticed the line-up was very St Albans heavy, I think it's an attempt by the organisers to alienate the non-St Albans part of the crowd. Swines.

Lithium05
I really don't get Frank Turner, seen him a couple of times and listened to some of his stuff and it just seems so... mediocre.
