Bands playing lower than you expected

Theres been a lot of conversation about bands being too high on the bill, however are there any acts that people are surprised arent higher. The ones that stood out for me.

Madness - Should be above jimmy eat world, will draw a far bigger crowd.

The Vaccines - Seemed to be one of the most hyped up bands at present, There album could will probably sell more than many in equivalent positions on the main stage,

Cage the elephant - Were probably given the slot before the last single did well, was always surprised they didnt become bigger after their debut.

Panic at the disco - Seems like only yesterday they were headlining the second stage at glastonbury. They are probably a band who would have been huge if they had been around 2 or 3 year early but while I know their popularity has plumetted, Im surprised it has by this much

IMO the line-up looks really weird, doesn't flow, a bit small compared to last year and stuff.

Seasick Steve under Two Door cinema club confuses me, they should be high NME.

Friendly Fires are very high (Although I'm not complaining), Madness are very low I would have thought 3rd.

Just a bit confused with the whole thing.

Personally i think Deftones should be higher than Offspring but i guess its close.

Madness should be above JEW.

Panic! should be higher.

Midnight beast shouldn't headline the FR stage if thats the case, although its not in special font so maybe they aren't. My reason is that what kind of alternative to Pulp and Jane's Addiction is that?! a joke choice imo.

MCR are playing lower than expected... ;)

In all seriousness, the lineup order is a mess this year at times. Enter Shikari totally out of place on the Muse day. JEW also out of place on their day. MCR day would look fine if Green Day headlined. And a nice 'rock' alternative they have in NME when the Indie is on main stage. '09 we got Gallows, AFI and Lostprophets, '10 we got Enter Shikari and Pendulum. And in 2011...we get Crystal Castles and Jane's Addiction :|

Could it be possible that we are looking at future festival headliners on the Friday & Sunday undercards?

Not for next year, but say... in the next 10 years. I am still adament Dizzee will headline within this time period & Friendly Fires if their next 2/3 albums set the world on fire. Although this might be a struggle as Friendly Fires was one of the best albums of '09 (yeah I know it was released in '08 but they toured '09 & it was a great summer album for me).

Also, anyone notice that Friendly Fires & Enter Shikari are both from St. Albans?
