Arriving late Thursday night with caravan

Will we end up miles away from main entrance? How far are the furthest away caravan fields from the entrance?

Unfortunately we can't arrive any earlier this year.

Having said that some late arrivals last year managed to get right next to the gate at the bottom of the hill of death!

If you have got kids, ask to go in the Family field. They were squeezing people in on the Thursday last year. Otherwise you might end up quite a way back.

Thanks for the replies.

No kids so won't be able to use the family field. We were in West last year, arrived Tuesday night, so we were in the 1st west field. The walk from the west caravan field through all the camping grounds is massive, so its definitely east for us this year.

Fingers crossed we aren't way far back then.
