What was the best ever Donington/Download line up

Of Downloads even thought Ive only been to the last three, its got to be 2009.

I even look at 2006, and yeah it had good headliners but I think 2009 is better, 2006 has a great Saturday main stage, and Deftones subbing on Friday but thats about it.

Friday main 2009 was incredible, Sunday was brilliant and Saturday very solid, plus it had a very strong second stage.

2012 could be the best year ever though, its looking so strong. Main stage and second stage especially. Second Stage was lacking but theres some big names and cracking bands on there now.

2011 last year had possibly one of the strongest second stages ever, but main was lacking, Sunday was very weak. Saturday last year was good on all the top 3 stages

2008 for me but its personal Choice and as well 2009!

08 i had a good year apart from the headliners i think, 1988 was amazing, you can watch the whole Iron Maiden live on youtube, brought back lots of memories, it was pre mobile phones and it had been on the news that 2 people had been killed so imagine the families waiting for kids getting home.

Some people have said last years Download was the best bill but what about this one from back in the day?
