Trailer tents towed by non sleeping vehicles?

Can't seem to find this info anywhere. I've been in the cv fields for a good few years now and yes I remember seeing trailer tents but can't remember normal vans/cars being parked next to them. Is the towing vehicle allowed to park next to trailer in the cv field? We are going in convoy, one campervan and one normal non campervan panel van which will be towing the trailer tent. We're obviously not going to sleep in the panel van but would like it close by for extra luggage (beer!) space.

Nice one jack, just had it confimed by GF as well. Strangely a very personally written email with "regards Dick Vernon" at the bottom. Does he reply to every query email in person!?

yep...Dick runs the GFL office in Glastonbury town...he's got a small team there but they always manage to respond to any question in a very personal and friendly manner...sadly rare elsewhere these days
