Leaving Sunday Night Info Needed!

Hi people, Ive got tickets for Sunday with some friends, so obviously we have to leave Sunday night.

We have a hotel booked in Bracknell and I wanted to know if there are any trains put on later? As far as I can see the last train is at 10.54. Im guessing this will be too early?

What time does the headliner usually finish?

Should we aim to just get a cab to Bracknell?

Any info would be muchly appreciated!

As it's Muse I'd imagine they'll finish at around 11:15, so yes, it is too late! I wouldn't know the best way to get there, so i'd suggest a taxi. Although you are looking at a high price considering the weekend it is on, and it could be after 12 by the time you leave the site and get into a taxi. (Prices are much higher after midnight)

Well if its the only way of doing it, I suppose itll have to be a taxi. Its not too far, 15-30 min drive, so im assuming between 4 of us in a taxi its not gonna be too bad. Itd be nice if there was some more info on trains on the websites..

I'm sure last trains are later than that, much closer to midnight. You may have to leave just before the end to catch them because of the walk.

Between all of you, a taxi to Bracknell shouldn't be too much. Trains usually run later, but since it's a Sunday, they don't go so late. Although there may be a bus service that would be worth looking into.

I'd say your probably looking at least £50 for a taxi quite a bit more if it's a black cab. Maybe best prebooking one and getting them to meet you at the holiday inn but then your gambling on them not picking up a bigger fare and not waiting for you...

As a second option if you can cancel the hotel in Bracknell there are b & bs in reading that arent on the main hotel booking sites so you may be able to pick up one of those.

You could try and get a Bracknell-based cab firm to meet you somewhere nearby (e.g. the Tesco on the other side of the railway line is 24 hours isn't it? That has a big car park) they would be less inundated with business than the Reading-based black cabs.
