MCR For Big Weekend

It's a fair point, not only the gigs but they've got a film coming out, they played the big NME gig and show and there seems to be a new article about them every few days on nme.com. Everything they do is high profile and they're definitely getting massive exposure at the moment.

More interesting than where MCR and The Strokes play is that there are nine bands playing R&L and Radio One's ego-massage weekend; either R&L is doing a good job of mixing together indie pop/rock that's getting a lot of airplay with bands that Radio One would never play (not to mention other festivals wouldn't give the same slots to) or Radio One is starting to play good music again.
