Yep, I'm someone who claims to have the most accurate festival info in advance of announcement. And yesterday proved that's no idle boast yet again, despite the small error in the info I gave. :)

As for whether that error was always wrong, you've yet to show me anything that proves - or even suggests - it was. But I can show you something that suggests it wasn't.

The arrogant gloating you're doing isn't making you look any smarter.

I'm not on here to make me look any smarter than anyone lol. I'm no different to any of the rest on her doing predictions.

I don't believe a small error is saying someone is on a different day. i believe a small error is saying someone was playing on that day but not where it was expected. A sub playing on a different day could be the difference in wether someone wants a day ticket still or not.

Noel being asked to play at the same time as them suggests 4Music headliner the same day. I might well have put up a thought with Noel on The Killers day but there was strong suggestions against it with Noel not being able to miss the roses which is what an article by him clearly states that if he played, he would not be doing. So that is my reason and information to backup my thought that at least for a fair while, he would not have signed and agreed to play when he could not see them, therefore leaving Stone Roses sub the only option.

That's the difference between you and me. :)

You make it up from nothing and believe yourself right, as your words there get to show.

I don't make anything up and get my info from exceedingly good sources. And in this particular case the source for my 'wrong' info can't get any better than it was.

So while I can't be 100% certain at this moment (cos I've not had time to check back) it's 99.9% likely to be the case that my info was correct at the time I received it, and only 0.1% chance that something was misunderstood which led to that 'error'.

I love u guys!!

Gazza - To be fair VF may have had the info right by the time of announcement but The Killers info really wasnt around until Neil said it. Maybe a few had them as a rumour, but the same people had about 3000 others as rumours too.

Yeah he may have got that right, but it happens. Things change and maybe it did in this case.

I love The Killers and Snow Patrol, gotta bad feeling 3rd is going to be Nicki Minaj though.

Also a question... Never been and haven't taken much notice before but when are acts announced again?? And have we had the biggies or do they still announce some along the way??

Hopefully doing some lineup placings maybe? It's clear we know some so they might as well. The Vaccines need to end up at Weston park for a day ticket, and probably another decent one that day. In fact, I'd expect Jessie J that day.

I'm thinking, not defo but I'm thinking that Tinie and Guetta are 4music headers, Nicki Minaj a 3rd placing on the main stage?, Ed Sheeran a 3rd or 4th place other main stage day, nothing to suggest that other than the lineup poster and Ed is confirmed as Roses day I think?

The difference is your 3rd starting line there is that someone did. VF had it, and we won't crib about them too much, cause they also had Guns for R&L, which you needed confirmation after on, not saying you're wrong for that, just saying, coming back with crap on them is what I expect but that point is true.

I don't need to make anything up and believe myself with anything Neil lol.

Noel says, I miss The Roses I don't play, he headlines 4music stage, he misses them, he subs The Killers he misses them, someone who looks up to The Roses and to sub them as a solo artist for him is bloody massive. it's a bit of festival maths. He plays under and watches them at T, he does so at V too, he isn't around going by what someone said to see them at Heaton park due to U.S. dates, that maybe wrong but don't know what someone would say it for if not.

Any chance of:

The Killers

Snow Patrol

Mumford and Sons

Or they too big for that now?

Just been having a flick through my iPod. Please let the Vaccines be on The Killers day. Also would like any of The Wombats, The Kooks or Vampire Weekend there.

Sorry just dreaming now.

I've only ever been to V Fest once, that was in 2010. Pretty much enjoyed it other than the piss chucking. Then went to Glasto last year for the first time and as everybody here had told me, there really is no contest and I swore not to go back to V again, especially after last years line up.

However, this line up really does it for me - Killers, Snow Patrol, NG, Stone Roses, Tom Jones, Human League, Madness, Happy Mondays, Keane, mixed with some modern stuff like Miles Kane, Noah & The Whale, Maverick Sabre etc.

For somebody who committed to never going anywhere other than Glasto going forward, I've bought tickets for this years V!!!!

Although I will be staying on the peripherals of the crowd!

VF had it,

you mean they had it AFTER they got sent the embargo'd V press release.

I don't need to make anything up

you make it all up. When you have the first shred of evidence to prove that what I said was wrong at the time I heard it (which wasn't necessarily at the time I was saying it, btw) then do come and show it to me.

I have no reason to doubt my source on this.

I have every reason to laugh at all that you post (as do so many others). You have zero behind this, your latest bit of baseless speculation, just as you have zero behind it all.

Really, what's so hard for you to grasp?
