Booking Fees?

Hi,

New Member to the boards, but have been viewing for a while.

Went to Global a couple of years ago and loved it, was waiting for the Global line-up announcement (finally came yesterday!), but it dwarfs in comparison to the Creamfields line up, so looks like I will be making the trip up north (from swindon) this year!

Anyways, Just come around to booking my tickets, and was astonished to see that there is an £11.50 booking fee per ticket! Has it always been this high for creamfields?! Fair enough I know it's usually a few quid, but when booking 4 tickets it's over £50 in fees when accounting for postage too!

It won't stop me going, but I am considering waiting and trying to pick some tickets up on eBay when people realise they can't make the date or anything. Only problem with that being that if tickets sell out they may go for more than face value, which completely eliminates the point of waiting.

What does everyone else think of these booking fees?

Outrageous booking fees are the norm nowadays unfortunately. I just class them as part of the ticket price when looking at the cost of gigs.

Waiting and trying to get them on ebay is a dangerous game as it sold out last year and, if that happens again, the tickets could end up costing you more. May as well just swallow it and buy them now if you've got the cash. It's well worth it!! :D
