DLNA - connecting tv to my pc?

Media library? I don't download. And please don't say simples.

It's a very good piece of kit, though too fat to fit in the infra-red section of my cabinet so I need to find something slimmer. I'll be keeping it for use downstairs though. Very nice in 9.1.

It is on the same subnet then as it has 192.168.0.11 as it's ip address, all my other things start with the same ip address but obviously the last two numbers are the same

Not sure if the tv had to authenticate? Doesn't mention that in the set up in the manual

I've just realised that the 3D blu ray player that came with the tv also has dlna but that can't find the media server either... Strange

To connect your PC to your TV via HDMI to stream movies (I think t8yman meant wireless streaming), I thought it was too far.
