I need Battles to play. Missed out on tickets for their ICA gig, and I'm busy on their Heaven gig. Come on Reading, make me a happy person.

Think many of them are too big sadly, Hold Steady have quite a following and I saw Godspeed play a big Manchester venue, way above anything anyone else has played on FR usually.

Most of these bands deserve to be much higher, but I can't see any of them getting the crowd they deserve, especially up against the other stages.

The Hold Steady would probably have to be the headliner.

Yeah, The Midnight Beast headlining is a complete joke really. They are pure novelty. Then again, I'm glad theres noone I want to see on then as I'd be watching The Strokes anyway!

Also, I'm hoping for the return of Free Energy. I missed out last year cos I was watching The Drums (massive mistake - they were crap and didnt even play their biggest single!). Any chances?

Would hope to see Local Natives play, but only if they play on the Friday at Reading. They'd play pretty high up I reckon and I'd have too many clashes on the Saturday and Sunday if they played then!

I doubt Fight Like Apes would be that low, they were third last year until they pulled out and have just released a new album. I hope they are somewhere though.
