This is awesome. Some really good bands on that line up. Excited about the 'mystery guest'... Hope the weekend is really successful so it becomes a regular event that can get bigger and better!

There is no camping at the site but they have done a deal with the university to offer accomadation 5 mins away at the hillhead halls for £25 per room for one night or £40 for the weekend per room

Room holds 1 person

limited amount of rooms (they do not have 25K rooms lol)

I got my tickets and know quite a few who are going. It'll make a nice change to be able to walk to a festival.

Nobody on the facebook page has replied to my query about the selection of beer that might be available. I fear the worst!

Tickets can now be purchased at Cafe Drummond, The Cavern Record Shop and One Up (all Belmont Street). Presumably a few quid cheaper than purchasing from Ticketmaster.

Well the 2 main rumours seem to be the Charlatens or Ian Brown. I have my doubts about the charlatens as they headlined Wizard 2 years ago and have toured in Aberdeen/Dundee frequently. I did hear Ian Brown was in the frame for WIzard but will not be playing there so think this could be a half decent shout.
