think there is some validity in the rumour but at the moment they are saying its going ahead.

Think ticket sales are poor (1500-2000) and bands are now looking for deposits to be paid so there is a cash flow problem.

Probably too late now I would imagine. I was well looking forward to it and thought they had a decent enough line up for a first attempt. My mate has already had a call from RBS or Ticketmaster and refunded the ticket money so I think a phoenix from the flames is unlikely. That said if they put tickets on sale again I would buy.

Sad that the opportunity to have a festival within the city has been lost.

I bought a ticket, I know 3 others that had tickets, and almost everyone else I know was planning on going so absolutely gutted.

Is there enough people in area to support this? Definately. The nearby Wizard festival has a strong following, and Rock Ness and Tartan Heart show that the location doesn't have to be in the central belt to have a success.
