because they deserve it- they are the biggest band to emerge in the last few years in this country, theyve sold out wembley, and the secc for two nights. just because you dont like them doesnt mean they are some niche band with few fans. I am considering going to soni just for the saturday (if they do day tickets) because the other two days are just copy and paste festival lineups.

anyway, this isnt a "are biffy any good" thread, so as worm said - as you were.

anyone ever been put off a band after they saw them live? happened to me when I saw porcupine tree live. it was the most sterile, note perfect, album sounding gig I have ever witnessed, and as such completely sullied my opinion of steve wilsons output. irrational and mental I know, but I genuinely cant listen to them any more....

Bob Dylan; i do like some of his stuff but his voice grates with me too much to be a proper fan.

Pixies; always found them utterly dull

Arctic Monkeys; this might be a generation thing

Bob Marley; i can listen to Legend once a year, and it has to be sunny out, or he just doesnt get through to me.

Queens Of The Stone Age; regrettably, despite the magnificent No One Knows and a few songs from Rated R, i think they are pretty average. Pity.
