I was driving through a place called Tokers Green, it made me chuckle a little bit. I was then wandering what places have hilarious names.

Honourable mentions to Cockermouth (apologies if your from there) and a place in America called Crackpot.

Me and the missus have an 'hilarious' running joke whenever we drive past a certain place. She says 'that reminds me, what have you cooked for tea' and I'll say 'Duns Tew' as in Done Stew. I know, you'll be shitting yourself laughing right this minute. Ahhh the life we lead....

Actually my friends and I used to have a running joke that one day we would stay on the train to Whimple and see what it was like, because it has a funny name.

Never went. But there's not a day that goes by that I don't think about that place.

Ahh see that's the thing about Tokers Green, you think your driving through it really well and safely. In reality your driving at 2 miles an hour, concentrating really hard on a gentle curve in the road and getting well excited when you go over speed bumps whilst other drivers look at you funny. Oh and to push the stoner analogy one step further, your car leaves with it's headlights all dim and low beamed.

Last I heard the residents of Sluts hole had started a petition to get the name changed, but as everyone else thought the name was hilarious, and there were only about 10 houses on the lane, I suspect they were never succesful!!
