Yearning a bit for this one, the first Weirdigans gig of the year, so went on the Knockengorroch forum and found such poetic descriptions of this wee festie from people who feel about it just like me (but phrase it better). So thought I'd share this poetry with folks here to give you a taster

"a river and trees and sun and happy happy people

beautiful music and laughter and wonderful ale

wood smoke and incense and the smell of fun

dancing and dancing and sleeping and then....

doing it all again and again and again"

"Yes, yes ,yes it's nearly time for heather ale ,gooseberry lager, strawberry beer and dance till dawn..."

Interest piqued? If so come see us near the Longhouse at the far end of site, there'll be acoustic music into the night outside until the chill sets in and then around our woodstove...

Knockengorroch opens its gates Thursday May 26th. There'll be low-key entertainments that first night. Weirdigans Cafe and Acoustic Tent will be open, as will the bar and a few other chill-out areas (Main Stage starts Friday).

Dogs (well-behaved) are allowed.

The Monday is yet another bank holiday in England, so if you're from south of the border you can enjoy your next 5 days of holiday at Knock! (not sure about bank hols in Scotland, soz).

The site was looking great on Saturday bathed in sun light, dust clouds blowing around.

The changes to the longhouse looking good, the igloo had servived the winter, and the cows were happilly munching on the spring grass.

Just a little over 3 weeks away can't wait.

'Tis possible Weirdigans and the Acoustic Tent will be just the other side of the little beck from the Longhouse this year. That'll confuse everyone

If anyone fancies a job at Knock, we have one going and will be conducting 'interviews' at Bearded Theory...

Today is the last day to buy tickets online for Knocky, But don't worry tickets are on sale on the gate as well.
