Safe and Sounds: Now and Yen

Safe and Sounds is happy to announce its launch event on Friday May 6th!

Join us down at Bad JuJu on Broad Street in Nottingham for 'Now and Yen' from 8pm 'til 2am.

We'll be hosting a whole night of diverse music in aid of victims of the Japan earthquake in March, we're tearing it up with some of Nottingham's finest DJs - and all for an awesome cause.

Safe and Sounds was set up because we find it too difficult to sit idly by and watch the lives of friends across the globe get turned upside down by forces beyond our control. We're all too aware of the impact of recent events in New Zealand and Japan - but of course, they aren't the first, and sadly won't be the last.

So we decided to do something. We reached into all corners of Nottingham to call upon its spectrum of talent. Now, with an army of willing artists, we need your help.

We will be holding a series of events - all designed to raise as much awareness and cash as possible for those suffering across the globe - 'Now and Yen' on May 6th is just the beginning.

But the fun doesn't stop there. Watch this space for more events to come across the summer... or drop us a line to find out more. And most importantly, get involved! All you need is your dancing shoes.

All proceeds raised are in aid of the British Red Cross.

We will be organising a multi-venue event in Nottingham in September, and will be looking for bands, artists, DJs, venues and any other interested participants to get involved in raising money for this good cause.
