i didnt think it was that bad.. seasick steve - good, wild beasts - good

some of the other stuff didnt sound terrible but i wasnt instantly transfixed..

i personally didnt see much wrong with that show... but different strokes n all that jazz i guess

I used to love this show. But I used to love custard too and now I don't bother with either of them.

I always find the show hit and miss. I agree that The Wild Beasts were very good. One of the bands of the moment for me. Other music spanning the genres, so I can't see everyone liking everything. But, having said that, wasn't the best show he's done

It's a bit like Glasto though. A few bands you can rely on and occasionally some interesting discoveries. I'd like to see more In Concert programmes but the danger is that you then just go for what you know and like. An electic programme like Jools at least introduces you to some new acts.

the Top Of The Pops audience was chosen because they could dance, because the dancing was part of the show, and even then they often looked pretty gawky a lot of the time.

Later is a completely different concept....

I don't know really. I think it's the diversity of the music on it, which means I never watch for more than one song - kind of makes me think that the people who watch it start to finish must fancy themselves as 'true' music fans, because they can't possibly enjoy everything on it, I daresay they think some of it's pretty shit, but enjoy watching the skill of the musicians.

Plus the interviews, which always seem so forced and uncomfortable. And when Jools joins them on stage. And generally any of Jools' music, so over the top and up it's own arse.

jools has gone right down hill, i usually only watch it to laugh at the increasingly desperate acts he gets on.

there was some French woman on last week, she had a fella on a double bass (great) and another fella with two paint brushes hitting them on top of the double bass in a tip tappy fashion why???? why on earth would you think that's was a good i dear.

when do you think to your self hmm what i really need is a guy, a pear of brushes, maybe then he can hit them on a double bass. that's it my band and my life is now finally complete.
