How cheap could I get a ticket?

As the festival hasn't sold out yet, I'm getting more tempted to attend this year, as the line up really isn't THAT bad, and I think I will feel rather disheartened come bank holiday weekend and I'm not smelling that mixture of fire, stale beer and the toilets!

But as I've spent my festival budget on TITP, another £200 quid on a ticket plus all the expenses that goes with my need for food and love for alcohol, I doubt this is really going to happen. But hearing how people have got tickets of touts for £100 quid before interests me. There has to be some touts there who thought they pulled a fast one by buying these tickets and now have 4 tickets they can't sell for over retail price as A) there not in demand and B ) if you can still get them from an official website, what's the point?

So my question, how low will the touts go?

Depends if (or when) the tickets sell out. My thoughts are that if they haven't sold out now then they won't, but then if there aren't many tout tickets left (many may have panic sold already?) then supply for tout tickets will go down, demand for tout tickets will go up, and you won't make a huge saving on regular prices anyway.

Or you could get one for £100. Who knows?

I've always got my tickets off eBay about a month before the festival as I was usually skint when the tickets came out (& sold out). Never had a problem as I make sure I have a good rapport with the seller & if you pay for the ticket within 3 months by PayPal you will be covered & should get your money back if it doesn't arrive but you will have to wait a while for it to arrive. I just made sure I had some emergency money to buy a last minute ticket if the won I had won didn't turn up!

Wasn't going to bother this year but I won a ticket for £115 so am happy to attend (with the line up as it is) for that price. Good luck.

I got a Download ticket last year for £105 the week before it started. As long as it doesn't sell out then prices are guaranteed to keep going down, the trick is to know whether it is going to sell out and if so when.

This won't apply to Early Birds mind you.
