Power Ballot

Hi guys,

I entered the day ticket ballot for Sunday. Can anyone give me info on the following:

1. Will we be notified by email to say whether or not we have been succesful?

(or will they only notify the people who get through?

2. What time will they send emails? First thing in the morning? A lot of people work, obviously. Getting time out to book tickets can be a bit dicey on company systems

3. In the event someone is succesful, will they hold their tickets until the ballot winner buys them, or do you have to buy immediately and then any other allocation goes to others

4. Can anyone explain why on earth when tickets are supposed to be "extremely limited" that succesful applicants can buy up to 4????? I only want 2- maybe even just one. Wouldnt this fall into the hands of touts????

5. Is all of this a cynical exercise to get people to buy weekend tickets? (Ok, this last one is rhetorical) :angry:

Dunno to all of those and yes to no 5.

My question is, what happens to the tickets they don't sell if it doesn't sell out? I guess they will just go on general sale maybe?

I entered all 3 days thinking the Friday would be too popular so any of the other 2 would be a good day out.

Got 3 emails yesterday offering tickets for each day so will now probably just go on the Friday.

got an email overnight for sat + sunday which clearly shows there might not have been the demand that they thought there would have been. i didnt apply for friday so if i got the chance to buy for the days i applied for im sure almost everyone did
