swede
Had my ipod on shuffle this morning and The Whos "Wont get fooled again", this was after listening to it last night as well, and I got me thinking that I actually never get bored of hearing that song, just wondering if other people have similar songs, were they might not be your fave songs of all time but you never skip them when they come on your ipod, some of my others are: QOTSA - Go With The Flow/3'S and 7's Pearl Jam - Black Beatles - While My Guitar Gently Weeps Marilyn Manson - Fight Song Stone Sour - Bother David Bowie - Ziggy Stardust Foo Fighters - Monkey Wrench Rolling Stones - Gimme Shelter White Stripes - Ball and Biscuit Edited May 27, 2011 by swede
The Nal
Defo agree on Wont Get Fooled Again. 7 mins 50. If aliens land, is this what we'll show them to describe rock music? Its also the exact moment Hulk Hogans spirit entered the world. I could name 500 songs. Been listening to a lot of Dylan and Tom Waits recently. Never get bored of them. Every time one song makes sense it raises questions about another song, which previously seemed to make sense.

grumpyhack
I agree on Won't Get Fooled Again. One of my great Glasto moments was The Who. I also love See Me, Feel Me - this is their Woodstock classic performance. Possibly my all time favourite pop/rock song is Alright Now by Free. You only have to hear that first chord and you know what it is and the tingles start.

I fell in love with this song the first time I heard it about fourteen years ago. Even now after I've listened to it hundreds and it still gives me goosebumps. grumpyhack
And this gem from the Travelling Wilburys. So sad to think that George and Roy are no more. Great voices and what a wonderful line up.
