Best Pulp album?

To correspond with their comeback this weekend.

A lot of people choose Different Class for obvious reasons, and whilst it's a brilliant album I'm a real sucker for This Is Hardcore. One of those albums that marks a dramatic change in a band's sound, and the tone is a million miles away from the colourful, quirky pop of the previous album. Instead, the band opts for a more subdued and darker feel, and I always love it when bands take this approach. Look at the Manics with The Holy Bible, Radiohead with OK Computer, etc. Suddenly releasing albums that feel harrowing and unnerving.

So yeah, This Is Hardcore for me!

His 'N' Hers. It's pretty fly.

His n Hers. There's some great stuff on Different Class, but it has a couple of weaker moments. Same with This is Hardcore. The others I don't know well enough.

Different Class, although We Love Life is pretty close and deserves far more respect than it ever gets.

Derent Class for me. I love every track on it and I've been listening to it for about 16 years and I still never get bored of it. This Is Hardcore is a fantastic album as well.

this is hardcore for me, its like alot of bands(kid a, adventures of hi fi) who have huge album(different class) and dont like all the media shit they produce a more darker sound which I love.

His and Hers probably got the most play in our house. If its the best I dont know I think its just from the period that I loved Pulp the most.

His n Hers for me - so many of my favourite pulp songs come from that era.
