Booze Deals

Thought I'd start a topic so that everyone can post any decent booze deals they have found seeing as most folk will be buying their booze this week.

So...where is everyone shopping?

Tesco had 3 litre bottles of Westons for £5 last week. Still cider.

They also had port on special for the cheeky vimto drinker.

I tend to find that magners is the best cider to take to a festival. It tastes fine even when it's warm.

Asda were doing 5 of those pre-mixed cans (southern comfort and coke, smirnoff and coke etc) for £5. Never had them before so not sure what they're like but thought I'd try them.

Tesco have got their 2 for £16 or 3 for £20 offer on some lager/cider.

£5 for the pre-mixed drinks is really good. Double measure in each, and pretty damn tasty. Will probably purchase some cheeky vod-cran or g+ts for the banter. Think I'll have to hit Elgin on the way, short of Asdas over my way...

I heard about that one actually. good stuff.

Strongbow deals last year were around 50p a can. This year i think i will be taking a pass and going for still stuff and some rum.

I took advantage of the 3 for $20 at Tesco with $10 off for spending over $50 when ordering online... So I ordered 2 x 15 Blackthorn, 2 x 12 Strongbow, 1 x 12 Heineken, 1 x 12 Carling and a bottle of Vodka and a bottle of Dark Rum. Normal price $80. With the multi-buy savings and the tenner off, $56.

But the delivery guy couldn't find my house so he took the stuff back to Tesco. I called to complain and managed to get a further $20 off my rearranged delivery so ended up getting all 78 cans and 2 70cl bottles for $36 hahaha.

Anyone know if there will be an alternative to Carling Amnesty? Had a look on the Carling website and doesn't look like they are coming to Rockness this year. Gutted!
