Is it just me or is the 2011 line up a dogs dinner of teeny pop.

V used to have a good mix of mainstream indie / rock and up and coming bands.

Sure there is a place for Radio 1 based teen pop to back fill the early eve graveyard slot, but for gods sake. This year Radio 1 had a better line up for their Big Weekend. Just have a look at the smaller stages line up & it was free!

We are going to still go as we are taking the kids, who also think the line up sucks....but we will no doubt find some salza solitude in the bacardi bar.

I wouldn't class Rihanna as a one hit wonder. She had 5 different songs, on five different radio stations at the same time the other day. It was inescapable!

Edit- But yes, the line up isn't good. Debatable if IoW is worse of the big fests but at least they've got three bona fide headliners.

i've been going to v since 2007 & completely agree with you on the line up front. It's by far the worst i've ever seen but having said that I know that it will still be a great weekend!!

I hate to break it to you though but the Bacardi tent isn't there this year
