V acts at the Isle of Wight Fest

Any thoughts on the performance of V acts at the IOW fest this weekend?

So far,

Kaiser Chiefs looked very lively altho i thought vocal were a bit off at times, i don think the lead singer and drummer are the best of singers anyway.

The Courteeners were disappointing imo, Liams vocals were terrible

I agree re. Courteeners thought Liam sounded terrible!! kaiser chiefs were good, seeing them with Killers at Hyde Park next week so prob won't see them again at V if they are clashing with Arctics.

Wasn't too bothered about Imelda May until saw her on I-O-W, now I think she is a must see. Agree about Kaisers vocals- hope that was sound system or rustiness and gets a damn sight better before August.

Disappointing??!! That was the funniest thing I've seen in ages - although I don't think I'd be quite so amused if I'd been waiting in the pouring rain to see that shower of shite!!! Shockingly (or laughably, if watching from your living room) bad!!!

Of those I saw who I wouldn't have looked at for at V otherwise, I rather enjoyed Eliza Doolittle!

yeah courteeners vocals were horrendous. saw them last year at V and they were actually quite good so i was watching the TV a bit like whats going on.

That was Courteeners first gig of the year, they where class last year at the MEN. Hopefully a repat performance at V

yeh they were really good last year at V and MEN, thats why i found it disappointing watching iow. hopefully they will pick up by V

just hope V is at least dry! IOW was soaked.
