On a different point it was quite clear that there was someone trying to break into lockers onsite too as its a 3 digit padlock, and there was numerous times the number I had left on my lock was different when I came back to it.

Its a shame but some people just come to these festivals just to steal as much as they can

It was my first outing to download and I only really went because I got comps from work. I was a little sceptical at first as I didn't really know anyone on the bill, but then I thought I should choose as many funny names as possible and see if they are good! I got there late on Friday and just about caught Darkness and Def Leppard, I was pleasantly suprised by both although thought Def should have come out in a more epic fashion! It certainly looked like Pendulum had the bigger crowd, something I couldn't understand as you can see them anytime you want pretty much.

I had to bail on Saturday as I had a ticket for Parklife in Manchester but that was pretty rubbish, so I made the trek up on Sunday and got there Just in time for Gaslight Anthem who were awesome, I wasn't too impressed with Disturbed so saw Black Veil Brides they were okay and a little different so that was nice. Bullet were pretty good and I really enjoyed Linkin Park, although everyone seemed to be moaning about too much new stuff( I seemed to recognise most of the songs so I couldn't understand what they were chatting about)

Overall I had an awesome time, the campsite seemed pleasant although from hearing luckysalts horror story I guess it has a minority of dicks which is pretty unavoidable at festivals. I liked that there was stuff to do at night, I much preffered dancing by the VK tent as the music seemed to be more broad rather than the other tent which played too much screamo for my liking. Hopefully I'll go next year and do more homework and have an even better time!
