Your kidding they are going to be great ...... Oh no they had one song .... And that was nearly 15years ago !! Total joke, got a friend coming who has never been to V before and after all the years I have spent of singing it's praises this is what we get on top of a very average line up !!

I'm torn about that... on a very basic level it does seem they just are NOT listening and have totally not got a grasp on what people are after this year..

On the other hand they have more good songs than they are given credit for and I am informed they are actually talented and pretty good fun live...

But with the rest of the additions, I have to lean more to my first opinion, each time they've added something it's been a case of 'what are they doing!?'

These have FAR more than one song. Their last three albums have been fantastic, their latest being very bluesy/70's. Some of the piano playing is superb, the vocals are beautiful. They have their own record label these days and shouldn't be seen as a 'joke act'. I've seen them before and believe me, you'll be surprised at how good they are now.

I think its hilarious.

Last year Peter Andre... this year Hanson.

i agree with Laimgazza to an extent (altho i wouldnt admit to seeing them if i had :P ). Also its a festival so has to be diverse i guess.

But i am disappointed as when they say 'look forward to a BIG announcement' you start thinking wow who's this gonna be....

oh its hanson....

tumble weed...

What people seem to be forgetting about V this year is they don't book bands on how good they think they are they book them on what's current in the charts. Hanson have just released new single they've been on loads of radio stations, chat shows etc so that's why they have been booked. I personally will be else where whilst they are on but not gonna moan about them being booked because its just how V works!

Oh wow you people have no clue, Hanson are the most underrated band in the world. They are soooo well respected in the industry but the general public can't seem to shake this view that they are some sort of joke band. You are so lucky to be able to see them live and they will definitely be a highlight of the day, they'll outplay any other artist there.

People should not judge before they have heard them. They are not just a one hit wonder, give them a chance and you might be surprised. They play their own instruments, sing live, write their own songs and I hear they have a great rapport with their audience. They are a perfect representation of a real band. Their new album 'Shout it Out' has some crackin' songs, a bit of soul, rock, pop, you name, they do it.

I hadn't given Hanson the time of day in the past until the release of 'Give a little' in the UK. I couldn't stop singing it all day, there's something infectious about their music, it made me want to hear more and so I bought the new album and was not dissappointed. As the saying goes, don't knock it until you've tried it! :P
