Drabod
Hi All, Well the basic question is, does anyone know of any stereos or boomboxes, that arent to large and fairly efficient on batteries to be able to be used for the weekend at V, mainly night times after 11 and music in the morning Any Help would be appreciated Rob

bollyhead
Mate a car battery weighs a ton , ( you need to keep your strength for carrying your beer) just get sa couple of sets of cheap batteries from the quid shop and go with the radio idea. its worked for me for years,

bollyhead
Step 1 : Take your ipod or other "generic" mp3 player, Step 2 : Get one of these - Decent Speaker (two or more of these can be linked together for more volume if required). Step 3 : Get one of these - Handy Charger. Step 4 : Then rent one of these - safe House. Charge your ipod and speaker using the 12v supply in the locker during the day whilst your in and around the arena, get it out on the way back to your tent at night......hey presto! music through the night and early hours. On the way back into the arena the next day, pop it back into the locker to charge for the following night. This is what i did last year and my ipod was always charged when i needed it and locked up safe when i didn't (Also handy for keeping your car keys and money in too)
