Yeah, potentially it can change and hopefully it will. As the Sunday is already sold out, they need to create some diversity to push combi tickets. Sunday is also the day I'm talking about. I don't know if genre heavy is the term, but it would be a long shot to call anything of what's announced a rock act at least. It's definitely a day centered around a younger audience though, that's for sure. If they had spread those artists between the four days, I wouldn't have lifted an eyebrow (although I don't see Rodrigo as a RW-headliner, I wouldn't mind she being there).
I also find it a bit strange, that a festival that has maybe had 1-2 EDM acts a day, suddenly has three among the first ones announced in one day. Again, not saying it's wrong, but why not spread them?
Well, I haven't reached it yet. To be honest with what I have done it's amazing that I have got this far. I can only put it down to decent genes. My parents (and whole lineage) is from a costal area on the west coast of Ireland. There wasn't the abundance of processed foods that people are exposed to nowadays, so they ate healthily. Plenty of fish based omega 3 too. Well, that's my theory on why I'm still here, anyway. I mean it is amazing, as apart from a few holidays abroad I've taken a Class A every day for the last 15 or so years. It is not a path that I would advise others to take, but it has been my own conscious path. I may hit 60 but will ever reach 70, so 'Yes' maybe it is wise to have two bashes for my 60th.
I won't be going for any tickets in the resale. I really do think that my Glastonbury days are over. I wish I'd known that my last Glastonbury was going to be my last Glastonbury though. It really is a remarkable place. No other break or holiday provides that feeling of freedom. Well, to my mind's eye, anyway. Long live Glastonbury (AKA Brigadoon).
