Baler time

This one is especially for Yoghurt. Went out for a wander round dad's farm at the weekend with my new camera and got some nice pics of bits and pieces and some very old machinery. Couldn't resist snapping these!

Thanks for the tyre photos Liz. Looks like they have seen plenty of action. Makes me now wonder how long they last. I suspect they are an expensive item to renew. They do look lovely though - Oh dear, I'm off again.

Fortunately I have a job which invloves working from home a lot. It means I don't often have to see anyone or go to offices etc. This means they don't see me, and the states I sometimes get myself into.

Another baler

I wouldn't get too excited Bathimp! It was a dairy farm but hasn't seen cows since the 90s. Dad lets the land out to my uncles so unless they're around there isn't much machinery about. I'll try to get a snap of their tractors next time I see them - they still drive around in the same old tractors and land rovers I remember when I was growing up in the 80s! Dad still does the odd bit of work around the farm and collects a lot of firewood, and for that he recently bought this beauty...
