Another MF but the rear end of a combine harvester this time. Talking of combine harvesters......

Its on the rear of the body not the cornhead. All combine harvesters need a good baler.

No numerical markings but this does have a good story behind it. It's a 237 IAME Pampa Tractor model TO1;

Pampa I.A.M.E.

IAME TRACTORS

The Badge features a large gear wheel and aircraft wings.

Born from the post war need for a renewed supply of food, in 1948 Argentina was a large producer of crops but lacked the agricultural machinery needed to boost production.

After an exhaustive Government survey among the Argentine farmers to establish which of the modern tractors was most suited to countries requirements the most popular was the Lanz Bulldog.

Two new Lanz Bulldog model D1506 were purchased and flown to the I.A.M.E. aircraft factory in Corboda were one was totally stripped and each piece examined and faithfully copied, with the aid of contracting various components out.

Ten tractors were initially built as prototypes. Followed by full production, of thousands of Tractors which were heavily subsidised by the Government of Juan Peron.

Following the revolution of 1955 it was decided to stop production with the only remaining production coming from parts previously rejected.
