Never really thought about it before but just found out that tractors which use caterpillar tracks (continuous tracks) instead of wheels are for land with much softer soil than other types. The greater surface area prevents them from sinking. Should have worked that out myself really rather than look it up!

I know it's only a lawnmower but I'm feeling proud!!! (a) it's the first time I've found anything and ( I've learned how to post pictures!

(And surely lawnmowers are needed somewhere on farms where cows/sheep/goats/horses aren't allowed???? Please!)
