I know it isn;t a concious effort to destroy their product and identity... like I said, it's the world we live in these days where music I consoider to be commercial trash is extremely popular. Having said that, there was always mainstream music but the dofference was they had their own festivals. For whatever reason, it's all started to bleed into each other and hardly any festivals these days have a distinct identity.
